Dr. Robert J. Tisdale is Chief Veterinarian and practice owner of Robert J. Tisdale, D.V.M. Inc. He was born in New York State and attended SUNY at Buffalo for his undergraduate studies in Bio Chemistry. After completing his BS in Bio Chemistry he worked as a programmer for IBM. He was drafted into the Army in 1966, completed Officer Candidate School and served 3 years in the US Army. He completed a two- year tour in Germany. In 1973 he received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at Cornell University. Dr. Tisdale moved to Fremont in 1974 and worked at a local veterinary hospital until 1980 when he and his wife built and opened their own Veterinary Hospital in Fremont, CA, Mission San Jose District. Dr. Tisdale has been married for over 40 years. He and his wife have 2 grown children and one grandchild. Dr. Tisdale enjoys practicing his profession, family activities, animals along with golfing, fly fishing, and traveling in his free time.
